Lomustine – alkylating anticancer drug action from the group nitrosoureas. The mechanism of action consists in the alkylation of DNA and RNA. Inhibition of DNA synthesis caused by carbamoylation DNA polymerase and other DNA repair enzymes, and damage the DNA template.
